OUR FOUNDERS
RE:NAME Studio began as a passion project between two good friends — one with a background in marketing, the other in graphic design. United by a love for dance, we wanted to create a space that was both accessible and affordable, something we felt was missing at the time. What started as an idea to build a simple, self-service studio has now grown into a creative space where dancers and creators can practice, explore, and make it their own.
From the start, our idea has always been simple: keep things flexible and let people make the space their own. We designed blank, versatile rooms that act as a canvas for creativity. Over time, we added concept rooms for variety and inspiration, but the heart of RE:NAME remains the same, a space you can “rename” into whatever you need it to be.
RE:NAME is built on self-service, independence, and self-empowerment. With the rise of tutorials and online resources, anyone today can learn, create, and grow at their own pace. Our role is to provide the space for that growth, whether it’s for dancers, creators, small groups, or independent instructors. At the end of the day, RE:NAME isn’t just about rooms. It’s about community, a place where people can learn and grow together, while still keeping the freedom to do things their own way.
